    Hi all,

there is a problem with the qt webview and Android SDK30 (https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-97487?jql=text%20~%20%22ERR_ACCESS_DENIED%22)

As far as I can see Qt doesn’t offer the option to set the parameter for the local file flag.

Does anyone found a workaround for this? I can’t switch to sdk29 because I build the project with the continous integration from felgo and there I can only select SDK 30.

    Thx,

    Patrik

    Hi Patrik,

the minimum required target SDK for Android is 30, so using 29 is not an option actually: https://developer.android.com/distribute/best-practices/develop/target-sdk

Are you relying on opening local files or could they be hosted on a server as well? This would be the easiest workaround here, depending on your exact use-case of course.

The other alternative would be to patch the Qt sources to provide a custom WebView module that resolves the issue. We could do this for you as part of a professional support package. Please follow up at support@felgo.com if that would be interesting for you.

    Best,
    Alex
