Does %subj% supports mp3 files?

I’ve issue – my mp3 files was not included to resources on OSX

Hi Vlad,

playing audio files from resources is troublesome with Qt 5 at the moment and we have reported this as a critical bug to Digia which will hopefully be fixed with the next Qt release.

At the moment, you can do the following to work around this bug:

1. Do not use the BackgroundMusic element, but instead the SoundEffectVPlay component and convert your music to a wav file. That way you can keep the qrc deployment.

2. Switch to non-qrc deployment (but with assets folders). See the Squaby demo .pro file where this is done because of the same reasons.

Please watch the changelog of the next Felgo updates to get notified when this bug is fixed by Digia and incorporated to Felgo.

it seems, subj has an issue with muting

when I try to mute BackgroundMusic item on iOS it doesnt works

set volume to 0 doesnt works either

I also tried Audio {} and MediaPlayer{} elements but still issues with muting sound on iOS

Is this a bug in Qt5 multimedia?

Do you have similar issues?

Hi Vlad,

yes this was an iOS bug in QtMultimedia, I reported it and it is fixed with the next Qt release 5.4. (ETA October 2014). You can test the sound muting of a pure Qt Quick project with Qt 5.4 alpha which should be released next week.
