    Hi,

I am using a SequentialAnimation to make a fade in/fade out effect on the volume property of BackgroundMusic. This works great on all other platforms but iOS where it seems like changing the volume property has no effect.

The issues was mentioned in this topic also but I couldn’t find a fix for it so far.

    Any advice?

    Hi Mathias,

the Audio component (which is internally used by the BackgroundMusic component) appears to still have this bug in Qt 5.4. You can find the bug report here – it may help to post a comment in Qt’s bug tracking system and to vote for it.

As a workaround, you could also use a SoundEffectVPlay component instead, or set the intended volume of your audio track right in the audio file with an external audio editing tool.

    Cheers, Chris
