i am currently using the v-play 2.8.4 and using facebook plugin the new way.

when opening a session on IOS, it opens the facebook dialog in a browser window.

in earlier version of the plugin the facebook dialog was presented in an overlay over app?

or am i missing something in my settings?

Hello Bas,

The overlay was removed by Facebook as it is not possible to use stored passwords, etc. in the internal webview. The recommended approach is to add the custom URL scheme to the Info.plist and let the Facebook SDK on its own decide if it should open the native Facebook app (if installed) or the browser.
