    When I try to run my game from QT Creator or my phone, I get the following message:

     

    An error with code 14 occured when connecting to the GameNetwork Server. Please try again later.

    Error message: request too old

     

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Ed,

    are you using the latest daily build 1.5.5? We have fixed this issue in this release.

    Before version 1.5.5, also faulty requests were stored in the offline queue, which is why you see the error message pop up even after restarting your app. To clear the existing request queue, please set the (yet undocumented) property clearOfflineSendingQueueAtStartup of the VPlayGameNetwork component to true once when you start your app again. For testing on your phone, please completely uninstall the app and then install it again and it should be working fine again.

    Chris, thank you for the advice. I am using 1.5.5, but I tried entering  the clearOfflineSendingQueueAtStartup:true property and I’m getting a different error now. It is saying error code 15, “can not resend packet”. Not sure what to do here. Thanks.

    Please try to also set this property to true once at your app start: clearAllUserDataAtStartup (and also clearOfflineSendingQueueAtStartup to true).
