font loader does not work on iOS.

I’m trying to load Futura font family.

but it returns “could not load font ”

Hi,

are you trying it with Felgo Live or with standard deployment? Felgo Live can have problems loading *.otf fonts, while they will work fine with standard deployment.

I’ve tried it with standard deployment but it does not seem to work.

Hi Carlos,

where did you place the font file in your project? (e.g. <project-dir>/assets/yourfont.ttf)

By default, only your custom files of the assets and qml folder are bundled with your app binary. So the font might not be available if placed in another folder (e.g. something like <project-dir>/fonts).

Yes they are in my assets directory.

can you send over a minimum example project with the font, font loader and small main QML code to use the font?

We’ll have a quick look at the project directly then to see what could be wrong. Just send the small example project to support@felgo.com with reference to this thread.
