    Hi!

I`m using QWebSocket in my app.

But until 5.14 websocket client implementation is awful 🙂 It blocks  until message is completely received.

So I`m just thinking – is it possible to add libwebsocket from 5.14-5.15 branch to my app?

    Hi Dmitry,

Unfortunately, those libraries are not binary-compatible, so you can’t just copy them over. If you really need the 5.15 version, you can wait for the updated Felgo version in Qt Marketplace (a build for 5.15 is coming soon).

To get some learning, which things are currently broken for you with WebSockets (we use them on a regular base without any issues so far)?

    Best,

    Alex

Is 5.15 will also be available in cloud builds? I`m using it for iOS. And, how soon? 🙂

Currently, the most annoying is a https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-70694

When websockets are used with high-latency networks and receiving large messages, every QWebSocket instance really needs to be in a separate thread, or it will block main thread, including QML.

    Hi Dmitry,

Qt 5.15 in Cloud Builds will be available as soon Felgo officially supports this Qt version. We also provide custom builds for customers within Cloud Builds, if that is an option for you to move on, please contact us at https://felgo.com/contact

    Best,

    Alex
