    Hi Michael,

this sounds like a general Qt installation issue (you can check that if MSVC2010 or MSVC2012 Qt 5 projects are running). Currently we only provided packages for MSVC 2010, MSVC 2012 and MinGW compilers, so for the MSVC compilers you also need to install the Windows SDK. Easiest option if you do not have a visual studio compiler installed is probably selecting the MinGW compiler on Windows because it does not have any dependencies.

    Cheers, Chris

Thanks, but seems like I already have mingw installed (from the original install). The following are checked in package manager:

    Qt5.3- MinGW 4.8.2 (32-bit)

    Tools

    – MinGW 4.8.2

    Cheers

    Michael.

    Hi Salim,

you need to purchase one of our license to get early access to Felgo 2.0, as stated on the pricing page and in the installation manual.

    Best Regards,
    Alex

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for your feedback.

I have superscribed to the starter plan but I don’t seem to be able to download from the Felgo repositories.

Do I need to wait for a certain time?

    Regards,

    Salim

    Hi Chris,

    It is working now.

You can ignore the previous message.

    Thank you

Does that mean that the trial mode cannot use V2? The pricing page indicates so. That wouldn’t make for a convincing trial…

I don’t see the packages after adding the repository, in trial mode. Ubuntu 13.10, Qt 5.3.

I tried re-installing Qt with the online installer, same outcome.

    Hi Richard,

currently you cannot test Felgo 2 in the trial, that is correct. As the API stayed the same as in Felgo 1, you get a good sense what you can do with Felgo in the trial already. That said, we will add support for testing Felgo 2 in the trial by the end of this month.

    Cheers, Chris

Hi, is the download of Qt 5, or the Felgo packages failing?

If there are problems with the Qt 5 download, you could try to use the offline installer of Qt 5, available here: http://qt-project.org/downloads

    Cheers, Chris

    Hi,

I have managed to install QT5.3 fine with the online installer on Windows Home 7 Premium (SP1).

I have added the repository correctly (ie: it passed the test).

But when I run the MaintenanceTool to install Felgo, I see no v-play packages or plugins.

I thought this problem was caused by being a trial user, so I am now a paid user.

But still have the same problem.

    Regards

    Ross Illingworth

    Hi Ross,

seems like a strange issue, could you please let us know what’s the output when opening the maintenance tool settings, highlighting the Felgo repo entry and pressing the “Test” button?

    Thanks,

    Alex
