Hello, everybody. This is the first time I’ve tried Felgo and QT Creator. So far everything seems ok: I can follow tutorials, create and deploy apps. However I faced troubles when tried using visual Designer in QT Creator.

In Navigator area all the Felgo components are underlined with red. There are also messages like this: “Component with path C:/Users/my.name/FelgoSDK/5.5/mingw492_32/qml/VPlayApps/essential/Page.qml could not be created”. So this fact that I can’t use the visual designer is frustrating – I have to rebuild and deploy my apps each time to see the changes I make to the ui. Has anybody faced this kind of problems? What do I do about it?

Hi Dauren,

the Designer was already discussed in this thread.
To sum up, the Designer supports only the most basic QML Items and struggles if there is some logic and JavaScript involved.

Therefore, we recommend to only use it in very simple cases or as a starting point. Best practice is to create the layout for your apps in QML.
