    Howdy,

    I have serious issues with Felgo. I don’t know if it’s just me or if I encounter serious bugs.

     

    Let’s begin with a minor thing. How do I change the default background color of a splitView detail page?

    However as mentioned above this is a minor thing. I have to other major issues.

    The SplitView issue.

    My initial page of my App is a Welcome Page. This should not use a SplitView at all. All sub-pages are splitViews (tablet devices only of course). I push these views using “popEverythingExceptFirstAndPush“. Hooray. Oh well shit. There’s something wrong. Oh yes! My Welcome Page is displayed as left column page. However; I want that newly pushed sub-page as new top-level page.

    There is a property; leftColumnIndex to exactly change this.

    So, my first approach was to change the leftColumnIndex of a NavigationStack’s page change signal. That seemed to work. But well – the title is wrong then in our SplitView. It displays the detail page title on the left column. Meh! Bugged.

    My second approach was a more hacky way but it works more stable.

    Switching from my welcome page to the sub page is done now using “clearEverythingAndPush“. Very nice. This works.

    BUT!

    I finally tested the behavior on my iPad.

    Two very strange and new issues appeared and I’m really disappointed.

    Issue 1

    The global tablet property is false. What the fuck? Why? It’s an iPad.

    Issue 2

    Then I did some wrapper magic to all my tablet property checks and for debug purposes I changed it to true, hardcoded. I can live with this for now. I’ve finally managed to start testing the SplitView and I encounter very very very strange flickering issues.
