    Hi,

we’re currently looking into solving this issue.

Did you try to download the Felgo installer for Linux, or do you install Felgo on top of an existing Qt installation?

    Cheers, Chris

    Hey,

first of, thank for the fast reply. I have downloaded the v-play installer for Linux. The only thing related I had installed before was the qtcreator:

    sudo apt-get install qtcreator

    Cheers, Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

Sorry for the issue, we just fixed a problem in the Qt dependency management. Could you please restart the installer and give it another try?

    Thanks,

    Alex

I get the same error, just downloaded the Felgo installer and tried to install on a fresh Ubuntu installation. Nothing else installed yet.

Hello, I have similar issue in Linux Mint. Namely, using Felgo’s native installer works well, but I want to use “User defined repositories” in Qt Maintenace tool (as described here http://felgo.com/doc/vplay-installation/#add-v-play-to-existing-qt-installation . However following error is displayed each time I go to “Add or remove components” : ”

Cannot find missing dependency ‘qt.55.qt3d’ for ‘vplayengine.2.desktop.gcc_64’.

    Sometimes instead f qt3d I have

    qt.55.qtlocation’ for ‘vplayengine.2.android.armv5

    Thank you in advance

    Hello,

Since the release of Qt 5.5 there are some breaking changes between the open-source and the commercial packages of Qt. Most probably today, we are releasing a new Felgo update 2.5.1 which should fix that issue on Linux and allows to reuse an existing Qt commercial installation as stated in the documentation. I’m glad to keep you updated on that.

    Best,

    Alex
