I’m evaluating Felgo for my company and would like to know if video playback is supported (something like flash has).

yes playing videos is supported for iOS & Android, with the Video component.

Currently only iOS & Android are supported. Playing videos on desktop will be possible when we switch our rendering technology, expected to be released in second quarter 2014.
