    Hi!

When I try to run the following example Show Web Content in Your App I get the error “Cannot assign to non-existent property url” in Felgo Live. The same app however works fine on Android. As of the thread Can not use QtWebEngine and what is this error in designer : QtWebView is Not Installed I also installed the WebEngine modules (QT 5.10.1 and QT 5.11.1) and added QT += webview or QT += webengine respectivly to the MyProject.pro file without luck.

How can I test the WebView on Desktop?

Stack Overflow – You can’t use MinGW for the web engine with Qt. – Does this still apply?

    Hi!

Yes, unfortunately the MinGW port of Qt does not support the WebView at the moment. You can however use e.g. the MVSC (visual studio) c++ compiler to run a WebView on Windows.

For a working WebView integration, you can have a look at the Component Showcase. As the WebView is not supported on Win with MinGW, the example has the WebView code in the *.pro, main.cpp and ComponentsPage.qml commented.

    Best,
    Günther
