Can you provide a list of the graphics APIs, libraries and formats and their corresponding versions that Felgo supports for 2D and 3D graphics by platform (i.e., Android, iOS, etc.)? For example, which OpenGL and OpenGL ES versions are supported? Does Felgo support vector graphics like SVG? Which JavaScript libraries and frameworks can be integrated in a mobile Felgo app?

    Hi Steve,

as our current renderer is based on a modified version of cocos2d-x 1.0.1, it supports OpenGL ES 1.1. Svgs are not supported in the current Felgo version. With the next major Felgo version 2, SVG will be supported as well as OpenGL ES 2.0 thanks to the new Qt5-based renderer.

You can use any JavaScript code that is working with QML, internally we have used parts of jQuery for example.

    Cheers, Chris

Christian,It looks like you’re making great strides to develop and improve Felgo. It may be useful to have a separate forum for you and the Felgo user community to indicate what software has been successfully integrated with Felgo. For example, since jQuery uses a DOM, it would be of interest to know what parts of jQuery you’re using. I suspect that many of the node.js and some of the JavaScript libraries/frameworks probably don’t work with QML but I don’t know many specifics. Unfortunately for me, socket.io is one of them.

    Thanks.

    Hi Steve,

we have used some of the jQuery function implementations like extend(), as internal parts of the upcoming Felgo Game Network.

Your suggestion for the separate forum sounds very good! You can start a new thread and I’ll mark it as sticky, so it is shown on top of the forum until we have enough posts in the thread to start an own subsection.

    Cheers, Chris
