    Hello,

i have an issue on building for iOS on macOS Ventura 13.1. I can’t build a simple Hello World application anymore.

One problem seems to be a missing python, which can’t be installed anymore:

/usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Can you confirm that issue on you machines with latest macOS? Is there a fix or workaround available?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

is this issue already resolved? Else I’ll push this to the tech team to find an answer. I am aware that macOS 12.3 and up dropped some features related to python, which could be relevant here. There is a chance that python has to be installed manually now and/or a symlink has to be created so it is picked up correctly.

    Best,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

unfortunately not. I did’t found a solution. Played arround with symlinks and manually installing python without success. Hopefully you have a solution for me.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

we just released an updated package for iOS on macOS, fixing this Qt bug that caused your builds to fail: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-101745

If you open your maintenance tool and select update packages, it should show up for you.

Please also let me know if iOS builds work for you after the update. Clean/qmake may be required after the update.

    Best,
    Alex
