I am hoping to start using Felgo to develop mobile games.
Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding a way to install on the desktop OS I am using (the NixOS Linux distribution. Particularly unique to other Linux distros)

I am not particularly experienced with these things, and I would like some instruction on setting it up (or, if not possible to use on NixOS, I could put the effort into setting up a VM)

I found on the Felgo Installation page that Felgo can be added to an existing Qt installation, which sounds promising.

I’ve set up QtCreator (pkgs.qtcreator) and Qt 6 (pkgs.kdePackages.full), but Felgo seems to no longer be in the Qt Marketplace. I’ve also had trouble finding the Qt Maintainence Tool.

How can I get the Felgo extension?

    Hi,

the Felgo extension in the Marketplace was released and maintained separately from the main product and was thus only available for certain Qt versions. But due to little interest in the extension it is currently not available anymore.

Did you already try installing Felgo the usual way, with the online installer?

In case our pre-built Linux packages do not work for you on NixOS, a VM would probably be the best solution.
We do not have plans to look into officially supporting NixOS at the moment.

    Best,
    Günther
