Hello, the installation is blocked at “Preparing meta information download…” about 2 hours.

I don’t know why I have downloaded a large installer then I have to download other packages thought your installer?

I think online installation is a bad choice if you can not provide a stable and powerful network servers for the worldwide users.

I have waited tool long, I have to close the network connection, then I got “Network error while downloading ‘http://download.qt.io./onling/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/desktop/tools_mingw/Updates.xml?5394406”: connection is closed.

Can you please try to open the URL

http://download.qt.io./online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/desktop/tools_mingw/Updates.xml

in your browser first and report if it can be opened? Did you further copy the URL from the actual error dialog or were you typing it out for us here (there is an actual typo in the URL, that’s the question why I’m asking)?

I want to say that I have installed Qt 5.4.2.
