    Hi

I try to debug my projects in Creator and have the following stack

    Debugging starts

QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.

QML Debugger: Waiting for connection on port 51548…

NOTE: you are running a development build in Release Mode. However, the Release mode is recommended only for publish builds that are released to the app stores and for final testing. You can enable a publish build in the config.json file in your qml folder by setting the “stage” property to “publish”. For more information see: https://felgo.com/doc/vplay-publishing/

    qml: Loading datamodel…

qml: no licenseKey set, generate one here to remove the Felgo Splash screen and to use plugins for monetization, analytics, push notifications, social networks & more: http://felgo.com/licenseKey

qrc:///qml/VPlayApps/navigation/NavigationItem.qml:145:5: QML Icon: Cannot anchor to an item that isn’t a parent or sibling.

qrc:///qml/VPlayApps/controls/Icon.qml:70:3: QML Text: Cannot anchor to an item that isn’t a parent or sibling.

qrc:///qml/VPlayApps/navigation/NavigationItem.qml:145:5: QML Icon: Cannot anchor to an item that isn’t a parent or sibling.

qrc:///qml/VPlayApps/controls/Icon.qml:70:3: QML Text: Cannot anchor to an item that isn’t a parent or sibling.

    Debugging has finished

Even with the V play examples, it doesn’t work

    Hi Roman,

unfortunately there’s an issue with the Debugger in the current version of Felgo. We are already looking into it – sorry for the inconvenience!

For a quick fix, you can try to disable shadow build option for your project. (In “Projects” tab of Qt Creator, select your Build Kit and uncheck “Shadow build”).

    Best,
    Günther

As another data point, I have a problem launching an unmodified GamePlayground sample app in the debugger using the current Felgo under both Windows (7) and Ubuntu (17.10).

(Oops, pushed submit too soon).  Both crash whether or not the “shadow build” is checked for the project.

    Hi Joe,

thanks for the information – we are on it! 😉
