Hi. Hopefully, just a quick question.

I’ve used Felgo Cloud builds for an Android build without issue and I’d like to buy an iPhone so I can test my app on IOS. I’d like to know what’s the cheapest / earliest iOS I should buy.
Felgo Cloud builds currently only support XCode 11.2.1 which as far as I can tell contains iOS SDK 13.2 according to the release notes but they also mention it contains support for on device debugging for iOS 8 and later. Would this therefore work for an iOS 8 phone?

I have very limited experience of Apple devices and development!

Thanks, I’m specifically talking about the Cloud Builds though. Does that work with your iPhone 8 and XCode 11.2.1 builds?

Hi Jon-Paul,

I never managed to successfully build for iOS using cloud builds – once opening in XCode I was able to fix the issues which effected it, and since then have stuck to manual deployment;

Hi JP,

I would recommend to get at least an iPhone 6S, to also have access to the latest iOS 13. This model is already 5 years old, so keep in mind that this will be the next one that is potentially dropped with a newer iOS version.

Note that is is just a personal recommendation.
