Hi,

after changing the password in the forum it is not possible to download the the “Free Plan” version anymore.

When entering the current password in the installer dialog (the one shown here: http://felgo.com/doc/vplay-installation.html#install-v-play-sdk-with-qt-sdk) then the dialog will reset and it is not possible to finish the installation.

The things I’ve already tried:

Changing password
Downloading a new installer

After a previous installation which worked, the only thing that changed was the forum password.

 

PS: Hopefully it will be possible to install the libraries along with an existing Qt tool chain in the future.

Hi,

this issue is now resolved, after changing the password to something with less special characters the download worked.

There could be a problem with special characters handling (either in the forum software or in the installer).

 

PS: I would like to change the thread title to indicate that this question is resolved, but editing the first post seems to be not possible anymore.

great you were able to resolve the issue – currently there is no way to mark a topic as solved. This functionality will be available with the next iteration of the dev forum.

 

What kind of special characters did you use that caused the installer to fail?

good to know.

 

Some of the special charactes were:

! " § $ @ € Ü | '

Of course I didn’t use them all in one password, but with only alphanumeric characters it worked fine.
