Hi,

I have updated now to version 1.1.0 and syntax highlighting problem with EntityBase is still here.
I am able to build my game without problems. Maybe this is only a little bug? Is there already a workaround available.

My Felgo installation runs on OS X 10.8.2

Hi Patrick,

thanks for pointing this issue out! I have corrected this issue and it will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime, you can copy the following vplay.qmltypes file into this location:

\Desktop\FelgoSDK\qml\VPlay\vplay.qmltypes

Here is the updated vplay.qmltypes file: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13974554/vplay.qmltypes

For the change to take effect, please restart QtCreator.

Hi,

I have the same problem what Patrick has. I followed the instruction – I’ve changed the vplay.qmltypes file for this one from the link but the problem still exists. Is there any other possible solution ?

Hi Marta,

are your problems also related to EntityBase or do they occur with other components too? Which OS are you currently using and which SDK version is installed on your system?

It works with other components, just EntityBase doesn’t work.

Win 7,   SDK version 4.8.1

did you restart Qt Creator? Also, please update to the latest version 1.2. where this issue is fixed.

I updated the latest version 1.2 by choosing “Package manager” beacuse when I chose “Update components” I’ve got a notification that no update components are available. After updating there are more errors, eg. the problem occurs with all components. I installed everything from the very begining and when repeating updating the problem appears again.

Hi Marta, maybe you have overwritten the latest vplay.qmltpes file with the one from Dropbox above? Please check the modification date of it – it should be the 22.01.2013. I have also updated the file on dropbox, so you can re-download it again from the above link and make sure you are using the correct qmltypes file. Then quit and restart Qt Creator and try it again please.
