At which step does the error occur – do you get any error messages?
If the problem is, that the installer cannot build up a connection, your firewall could be blocking the installer program. Can you check your settings? Maybe also running the installer as administrator might help.
We will also check the installer on our end to see if there’s something wrong with the current version!
Having the exact same issue, except on W7 (64-bit), installer will prompt a ‘Run’ or ‘Cancel’ window, then refuses to boot up in the slightest, looked through and there’s no issues with firewall (been whitelisted) and have also ran as administrator, no luck so far however, wondering if there’s something I’m missing or another program is causing interference? Will continue trying to resolve the issue on my end, hopefully will find a fix soon.
I recently experienced the same problem (installer not starting at all – without any error message) after a fresh download.
Did you check if the file-size of the installer you downloaded matches the total file size?
In my case, the download somehow didn’t finish properly and the downloaded exe only had about 200 of ~800 MB.
I downloaded the installer again, then everything worked fine. Maybe that’s also what happened to you?
