Hello all,

I followed https://felgo.com/doc/vplay-installation/#add-v-play-to-existing-qt-installation and everything has gone well . I had installed Qt in /opt/Qt few months ago . But when qtcreator opens I get following Popup(Screenshot) .and Thus I can’t generate licence Key and get the error:-

:-1: error: [Makefile:699: qrc_resources_user.cpp] Error 1

I don’t want to install Multiple versions . What Can I do ?

I am using Arch Linux with Qt installed from official Qt installer

Hi Smit,

the popup error that you see relates to the used Qt Creator version of the installation. Due to some bigger Qt Creator changes, which affect the Felgo Qt Creator IDE plugins, Felgo currently ships with Qt Creator 4.5.1. For other versions, the Qt Creator IDE plugins by Felgo are not compatible.

This also means, that you can not log into your Felgo account within Qt Creator, which is required to add account license files to the installation. Due to requirements and compatibility issues in case Felgo does not match certain Qt changes, we recommend to use the Felgo package as available with our installer.
