    Hi Felgo,
Since GDPR changes soon will be mandatory, do you have any plans to introduce some tools to help with this?
I am talking mostly about Felgo multiplayer and Felgo game network.
I don’t think you store too much data about users there, what about things like username or avatar, I think these are outside of GDPR scope.

Bottom line, if there is any need to update some Felgo components for GDPR compliance?
If yes, will you do anything before 25th of May (this is the date I think)?

    Hi Marcin,

Thanks for the question. In short, yes, we will provide information about data that’s stored and specific QML APIs for user (data) deletion right from within your game that you can add to your game. Alternatively, we can also delete user accounts on request from developer side.

Lastly, we prepare a Data Processing Agreement for Felgo customer, so that they can comply with GDPR if releasing a game with Felgo Game Network features. We will send out more information in the next couple of weeks.

    Best,

    Hi Alex,
    Thank you.

    You stated in the liscence:

“Felgo further reserves the right to track app usage statistics of Applications
built with the Software or Services for both, test and publish builds, in order
to be able to assert the uses and restrictions of this Agreement.”

Is the data processing and getting the users consensus via opt-in already GDPR compliant? We need an official statement, that using Felgo and it’s services is GDPR compliant.

    Hi,

Usage statistics are only collecting non-personalized data (no IP addresses, identifiable device identifiers or whatsoever are stored or processed for the purpose of statistics), so there is no explicit opt-in in place and this is already in GDPR-complicance. We will provide an updated Privacy Policy, including details on app statistics, by tomorrow, which you can link from (or copy parts to) your own PP of your app/game.

    Best,

    Alex from Felgo
