Hello everyone, I’m not new to c ++, but I discovered the QML. I am currently trying to develop a gps mobile application and I find myself confronted with an obstacle and I have not found an answer on the net.

The error message when I’m trying to get my current position is

“serialnmea: No known GPS device found. Specify the COM port via QT_NMEA_SERIAL_PORT.”

I’m connected on my smartphone with live function and I would like to use it’s GPS.

If you know a documentation or something that could help me I would really appreciate it.

    Thank’s,

    Erik.

    Hi Erik,

what device are you using? This message points to the hardware sensor itself either not properly working of Qt does not manage to use it for some reason. Can you try to deploy your example or another location-based example on your device directly from Qt Creator to see if that works?

Also there is an example that you can using the Live Client App right from your Browser: https://felgo.com/doc/apps-howto-user-location-and-maps/#show-user-position

    Cheers,
    Alex
