    Recently I was looking at options for plugin which supports A/B testing.
    Weird thing, on your plugins website http://felgo.com/plugins/, there is nothing about Infinario.
    Also docs like here(Soomla is an example what matters is the left menu) http://felgo.com/doc/plugin-soomla/ – there is no Infinario on the left menu.
    But, if we search for infinario, one of the first results is http://felgo.com/doc/infinario/ , on this page, on the left menu, Infinario is visible.
    I am not sure if it is really supported, if it’s hidden on some pages but visible on others,

    Another thing is the page where you can generate your app key, on the plugins list(https://felgo.com/developers/license/?linkSource=mainMenu)I can not find Infinario.

    It looks like Infinario works but is really hidden from the user and doesn’t need the licence to run, am I right?

    Could somebody from Felgo please clarify the situation and update docs accordingly?

    PS.Sorry if this subject is already explained in the forums, but forum search does bring only one topic for “infinario” and is not what I am looking for.

    Hi Marcin,

    Infinario is not supported any longer, that’s also why it is removed from the sidebar and the plugin overview. The old documentation page is still online though, but it is not working anymore.

    What kind of a/b testing would you like to do?

    Cheers, Chris

    Thank you Christian for clarification.

    I am thinking about 2 scenarios where I would like to use AB tests:
    1. UI tweaks.

    For example, buying something in 1 or 2 steps and checking which scenario was better.Another one is tweaking animations or positions/look of buttons etc.

    2. Prices.

    I know this can be very limited, mostly because of the version property on Store item. I am still not fully sure how changing version will reset local history for my customers.

    Also do not understand why I need to change version property value if I change prices.

    In general I would like to measure how different prices compare to revenue.
    For now my only idea is to register, lets say on Google Play, many prices options I want to test and then disable(do not show to customer) the one option which doesn’t compare well.
    From what I understand, I can not really remove product prices from Google because of potential risk of losing history for a customer.

    I know they are JS related tools, like MixPanel, for example, which should work just fine in QT.
    I didn’t test them yet, though.

    Hi Marcin,

    I see. You could also use our WebStorage component and set the perUserStore property to false.

    That way, you can change the value for a WebStorage key by starting an application on Desktop, and this value then gets synced across all devices when they start a Felgo app or game again.

    You could set it for example to this:

    "groupA": 0.3,
    "groupB": 0.7

    Then you create a random number between 0, 1 and see if you are in groupA or groupB. Then you can act accordingly in your code. You can then remotely change the values for groupA and groupB and this is then synced at app start.

    Cheers, Chris

    Hello Christian,
    Thank you for answer.
    Will look more into WebStorage, didn’t even touch it yet.
    More docs reading for me.
