    My issues with Qt installer:

    Could not resolve dependency ‘Core(4.7.0)’

    Could not resolve dependency ‘ProjectExplorer(4.7.0)’

    Could not resolve dependency ‘Help(4.7.0)’

    My issue with Felgo installer:

    qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSLv3_client_method

    SOFT ASSERT: “!d->m_needsSetup” in file /work/build/qt-creator/src/plugins/coreplugin/helpmanager.cpp, line 285
    Field Label (“LabelAdMobIntegration”) has unsupported keys: span

    Failed to compute left/right minimum bearings for “Courier”

    The Program still runs despite these errors, but the installations are not the same each time, sometimes it will install the kits, delete the folder and reinstall, and they are gone, and I am using OpenSSL 1.1.1b 26 Feb 2019, and not sure if this is causing issues, as you may know Arch Linux Manjaro is a rolling version, it always runs the latest, and probably why you do not support it, I used Ubuntu for years, can not stand it, do not like it, it’s all about Politics, and now they have issues with the Linux Community for removing the word Linux, because they want people to think of Ubuntu not as a Linux clone, but an OS in its own right, Unity sucks to begin with, so my options for OS should not be an issue, and I should not be forced to use such a controversial OS that believe they are better than Linux, besides all the issues I have running other apps on it, Arch Linux,  Manjaro, LMDE, all good OS’s for developers, and that is what I am, not somebody who needs Ubuntu, I like the latest software that works, but I need an environment Felgo will run in at the same time.

    I run this script to check my environment, besides mips fail, it works fine, I have to source my profile first, unless your terminal does that at log on.

    https://wiki.openssl.org/index.php/File:Setenv-android.sh

    To help troubleshoot this issue, a bash script would be helpful, this one is very old, 2016, not much has changed I guess, script runs fine, but it would be helpful to create a troubleshooting script to help figure out what is going on, and how to get around it, without having to use an OS you do support, asking a Linux user to use Windows is an Insult, and MAC is just for rich people and personally will never buy another, and forcing people to use Ubuntu is just cruel, so my experience is that the installers currently not working on Arch Linux Manjaro, a none supported OS, and they are close to working, if I can get around these issues, it worked fine with V-Play by the way, and Felgo is much more assume, I love it, but I sometimes get a ssl open error, and things do not work good after that.

    What I propose is a dump script, that will help in troubleshooting, I suggest modifying this one to give you more info, and dump it to a file to submit with problems, this will help diehards like me to use your program without all the fuss of none Supported OS’s, and AUR might be required if Arch is so different from other OS’s, maintaining it is always an issue.

    My guess is that running the latest is what breaks Felgo, so I need to set up my OS to use the specs you require, but found it difficult to find what version of Qt you support currently, installing it I found it uses 5.11.1, I installed that using the Qt installer, and added in both repositories that Felgo uses, noting it does not seem to pull from the https://sdk.v-play.net/qt/linux_x64 not sure, but it installs fine, just issues, validates my credentials on test, downloaded, installs and runs with issues, I can still use it, so this is not a deal breaker, just annoying, and it does cause problems, I like things to work right, and I can not find which versions of all the dependencies you require, is OpenSSL 1.1.1b one of them?

    Can you create a page that list them, as well as a script dump file that will log your current versions of all that you need to know about, so at least I have a fighting chance of getting this to work right on a None-Support OS, and yes I understand you can not support them all, not asking you to, just asking for you to work with OS’s that are common to use for Developers, and I think these 3 that I would use, and are in fact more Popular than Ubuntu with Developers, just because Ubuntu is Popular with the Masses, does not mean Developers use it, and some do, not out to start an OS war, or knock Ubuntu, I am sure it works fine, but did I mention I only want to run Arch Linux Manjaro or LMDE, not Ubuntu, so this is a problem for me that will not get fixed by telling me to use a Support OS, that is just an insult added to this injury, if this only Ran on Windows and MAC, I would careless about the whole project, since I will never run these OS’s for many reasons, but if you want to make the Developers happy, you need to semi support their OS of Choice and not Force one on them.

    I am willing to work with you on this issue, even write the bash scripts for you, I am a computer Programming, and Bash is one of my favorite, I actually write programs using it, and in fact, I am using Felgo to replace those bash scripts, so I will do what ever it takes to get these issues resolved, so I can get back to work using Felgo on Manjaro with no issues.

    Thanks

    I modified Setenv-android.sh to http://lightwizzard.com/misc/troubleshoot-qt-andriod.sh.txt

    download and change permission to execute; and it will give you 3 files, one for a test of the computer, one for Qt, and one to source all the export variables.

    I will post those in a separate post so its easier to view with only the information it collects, so you can understand why you might want this information when dealing with multiple OS environments, and need an easier way to collect vital information; this can be expanded to collect more data, but look what it collects so far, and how it would help troubleshoot.

    The last log shows me this: qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSLv3_client_method

    I have searched for this problem, and tried all the suggestions and still can not fix it, it’s an issue.

    My point in this post is make it easier to troubleshoot problems like this, since I can not find a reason for it, other apps have no problem, only this one.

    Thanks, sorry about so many words and data, but I wanted to be clear about what I am trying to do, which is to get Felgo to run on a none supported distribution of Linux, hoping you can look at this information and tell me what I need to fix to make this work, otherwise I am looking at all the data I can find, I can work on adding a package list of all the apps installed, if that would help, they vary depending on the OS, but this script should handle most Linux distribution.

    This script also creates a file to source all the export variables, so it can help set up the environment, which should get this to work, but it is not there yet.

    I know there is an issue with where Openssl is located, in my script, I added:

    OPENSSL_LIBS: ‘-L/usr/lib/openssl-1.0 -lssl -lcrypto’

    this is normally used to compile the program, making AUR more of a better idea; since it compiles it that way, I think anyway, it was my understanding.

    #21292

    Flesh

    The Script will create an Environment file like this:

    #!/bin/bash
    # source export-source.txt
    #
    #
    declare -x PATH; PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk/bin:/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk/jre/bin;

    Felgo Team

    Hi Jeff,

    thanks for the detailed information!

    To solve certain issues on different Linux systems, you can have a look at the Linux Installation notes and tips in our documentation: https://felgo.com/doc/felgo-installation/#install-felgo-on-linux

    This post might also be interesting for you in case you got issues with SSL: https://felgo.com/cross-platform-development/install-felgo-on-fedora

    We are also happy to invest time to help you run Qt and Felgo on your system as part of our Felgo Enterprise support – let me know in case this is interesting for you!

    Best,
    Günther from Felgo

    I added an installer function; it should work with Fedora, CENTOS, UBUNTU, DEBIAN, ARCHLINUX, and MANJARO which I use.

    I have not tested this on other OS’s, but I have used this function in other programs, and tested that on all the above, mainly to see if this function correctly identifies the OS.

    Now you know all the Apps that are loaded, if you get them all to install.

    #21296

    I reinstalled my OS Manjaro trying to fix this issue, thinking it was the OS, but I do not get these errors in other apps: this is what I see when I run it:

    qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSLv3_server_method

    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/USERNAME/Felgo/Tools/QtCreator/lib:/home/USERNAME/Felgo/Tools/QtCreator/lib/qtcreator:/home/USERNAME/Felgo/Tools/QtCreator/lib/Qt/lib:/usr/lib/openssl-1.0/:/usr/lib/openssl-1.0/
    bindir=/home/USERNAME/Felgo/Tools/QtCreator/bin

    Note: /usr/lib/openssl-1.0/ in path twice, maybe becasue I added 'LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0 to it at runtime.

    I read all the stuff I can find, tried forums, no help, I will look at what other OS’s you support, this is crazy, I should not have to change OS to get this to work.

    I now understand why you do not support Arch Linux Manjaro, this really is their issue, switching back to LMDE, sorry about all the fuse, this was driving me crazy, also Manjaro stopped working with my NAS due to permissions and SAMBA issues, could not delete to trash can, after accidentally deleting the wrong folder, I do not like this, have an open ticket for over a year, guess they do not care.

    So I install LMDE-3, Cinnamon, last, and I get the same error Message:

    ./FelgoInstaller-linux_x64-online.run: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    only this one is fatal.

    I guess LMDE is not support either, this is not Ubuntu, its Debian, stable and stretch, with stretch-backports enabled.

    There are all the errors I get:

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    qtbase5-dev : Depends: libgl1-mesa-dev but it is not going to be installed or
    libgl-dev
    Depends: libglu1-mesa-dev but it is not going to be installed or
    libglu-dev
    E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    qttools5-dev : Depends: qtbase5-dev but it is not going to be installed
    E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    I have seen where libgl and messa do not play well together, how do I fix it?

    FelgoInstaller-linux_x64-online.run
    ./FelgoInstaller-linux_x64-online.run: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    Note on OpenSssl version, from Debian stable is 1.1.0j-1, I did not find libssl.so.1.0.0 but did find libssl.so.1.0.2, can I do a symlink?

    /usr/lib/ssl
    openssl
    libssl1.1 (>=1.1.0)
    1.1.0j-1~deb9u1 (stable)
