    Hello,

    I’m developing a jum’n’run game with a ParralaxScrollingBackground. This background is working fine, as long as the end of the background image is not reached! For example the player runs to the right -> the background moves to the left, but then the player goes back to the left side -> the background moves to the right side, but if the background width is reached, the rest of the background which is not in the left picture is black -> the most right background is black, it’s the same when you reach the beginning of the picture (on the left there is a black background till the start of the background-pic).

     

    I already tried to add a second image or mirror it. Nothing helped. Additionally there is always a black line between the end and start of the new background.

     

    Could you please help me?

    Hi,

    the ParallaxScrollingBackground item is designed for endless scroller games, it doesn’t support turning the direction at runtime. However you can take the source code of the item as a base to create your own item with the extended functionality.

    Regarding the thin black line between the images, we are investigating this issue but haven’t found the cause yet, we will let you know as soon as we could fix it!
