    Does v-play currently work with QT 5.2?

    the current version of Felgo is based on Qt 4.8, full Qt 5.2 support will be available with the next major update to Felgo 2.0, expected mid 2014. Are there any Qt 5.2 related features you want to use in your Felgo games which are not available as of now?





    Nothing specific. I was just wondering when it would be available.

    I am looking forward to this stuff:

    • New Scenegraph Renderer, for improved performance
    • Texture atlas support in SceneGraph
    • SceneGraph now supports rendering to an OpenGL Core profile
    • New animation types, called Animator, which can run animations on the the scene graph’s render thread.
    • Support for external Drag and Drop
    • Threaded render loop now uses one non-sharing OpenGL per window.

    The new scenegraph editor. That should give better performance in games using v-play,right?

    good points, these will be available with the new Felgo update!

    What do you mean with “The new scenegraph editor.“?


    We will write a more detailed blog post about the performance difference between Qt 5.2 and Felgo 1.0 with some tests – stay tuned. 😉

    Oh, I meant the scenegraph renderer.
