    Steps to reproduce:

    •  Start Qt Creator
    •  Use “New Project”, select “New-Empty”
    •  Select Desktop kit
    •  Navigate to Main.qml in the Edit window
    •  Click on the “Design” window button

    Error messages:

“This QML file contains features that are not supported”

    “Imperative Code is not supported”

The line in the template QML it identifies is:

Qt Creator version 3.3.0, installed from the latest Felgo download.

    Felgo Team

The Qt Designer is mainly limited to define UIs, it does not work with functions or more complex functionality. You can use the Qt Support Forums for more Qt Designer related questions.

    Cheers, Chris

Thanks Christian.  I think it’s a big disadvantage for you that the template you provide doesn’t work with the tools that you provide – especially the most basic template.    You draw attention to this problem by directing users early to the Designer tool – even though actually it appears to be almost superfluous.  I haven’t used it 🙂

I was significantly put-off when evaluating Felgo by this experience.   It was only other great things that made me continue.
