    I noticed, that the Qt5-spritesequence is owning a “sprites” property, containing the list of sprites to be animated. This approach allows to share a separately defined list of sprites with several spritesequences. Why is SpritesequenceVPlay not supporting this property as it should be a way to reduce memory cunsumption when using lots of spritesequences with the same sprites?

    very good point! We’ll add a sprites property to the next update, thanks for the hint!

    However, you can only save performance at loading time when you do the approach you suggest( defining a single list of Sprites and reusing that throughout all SpriteSequences). The same sprite sheet is used anyway if the same sprite is created multiple times, because internally Qt checks if the sprite with the given file source already exists and reuses that one.
