The documentation suggests the usage of the online installer for Qt5 in order to install Felgo 2.0.

I have tried to follow this suggestion but after trying to download Qt 5.3 twice using the online installer and having it hang/stall twice in the middle of the download after hours of waiting for it to get there in the first place, I have decided to just install it using the non-online installer.

In other words, this is my way of reporting to the Felgo team that there seems to be something wrong with the online installer for Qt 5.3.

Either there is something wrong with it or it is not suitable for people with a somewhat slow internet connection (3.58 Mbps).  I used/wasted 2 days trying to install Qt 5.3 this way using the online installer.

In any case, after using the non-online installer (the one with the “clang” on the name of the .dmg file) I was finally able to download and install Qt 5.3

I then use the Maintenance Tool to install Felgo.

After restarting Qt5.3, I have found that there is only the “New – Empty Felgo 2 Project”.

    Is this the expected result?

What happened to the Built-in Sample Templates that are supposed to be available?

    How do I get those?

Luckily I did not uninstall the previous version of V-play so I can use that to have a peek at the sample codes, but ideally I’d like to have those too on this Qt 5.3 version.

Is there a way to do that?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Preston,

it seems that the Qt 5 mirrors are not the best for your region – but good that you were able to use the offline installer.

Right now there is only 1 template available in Felgo 2 – we’ll add the remaining ones with the next version(s). In the meantime, you can use the demos and just copy them to your working directory. They are located in <QtSDK>/Examples/Felgo/demos

    Cheers, Chris
