Hi there,

I’m a beginner in the c++ world and I have to make a cross-platform mobile app. That’s why I use Qt with V-play engine.

Little problem : I would like to use a python script (a socket that permit to send and recieve files -> that I already wrote) in my application.

I just want to have a AppButton in my app that execute the script (that have to be in the project, I don’t really know where).

Hi!

The first step would be to mix-in custom C++ code to your Felgo / QML project, see Integrating C++ and QML for more information on that.

Regarding Python and Qt/C++ compatibility we  don’t have much experience as well, but the following links might be useful for you to get started with:

can we write our app with Python and not C++? I mean the main.cpp can switch to main.py?

there are currently no examples of Felgo and Python, but you can try following some PyQt tutorials such as this one: https://qmlbook.github.io/ch20-python/python.html.
