    Hey Guys!

So when trying to test my app via felgo-live web client understandably plugins do not work, would say firebase/onesignal still work once fully deployed? (there’s some code changes i’ll be making to allow for desktop viewing and would rather not do the work when users can’t even log in XD)

    Also –

The documentation states I need to use a static web server – at the moment I use a hosting website for my official webpage, are we able to use things such as Squarespace/wordpress/wix to host our apps?

    Thanks

    Edward

    Hi Edward,

Firebase is currently based on the Firebase C++ SDK, which requires native frameworks and is thus not available for WASM. Similar for OneSignal. There is currently no ETA for adding the mentioned plugins for WASM, but we’ll be moving them further up the internal roadmap based on the demand.

Regarding “static webserver”, this mostly refers to the fact that you need access to the actual webserver (FTP, SSH, …), to upload your wasm binary and dependents. Also, you ideally have access to the webserver config for potential changes to the wasm MIMI type, e.g. to enable caching.

    Best,
    Alex
