Hi,

first of all thanks for the great Felgo4!

I started the port of my application to the latest Felgo and hoped I get some nice improvements from Qt6 which become true, except the WebAssembly changes.

It seems that the AppTextEdit doesn’t work correctly on iPad, etc… because the OnscreenKeyboard doesn’t appear. So this nice feature seems useless for tablets.

Is there a solution for this topic?

Hi,

this limitation is also present with Qt5. We’ll need to investigate if this can be patched or solved with one of the newer Qt versions.

As an alternative, if you also have a mobile app version, you could also refer the user to the mobile apps when visiting the website from a mobile device instead of using the WASM version directly.

thanks for the fast response. Yes this is also a good solution. Maybe we follow this instead using webassembly also on mobile devices.
