I am serious about this, now they restrict the access of the LTS version of Qt after 6 months, and there is a bad, bad news like this

“the KDE Free QT Foundation that the economic outlook caused by the Corona virus puts more pressure on them to increase short-term revenue. As a result, they are thinking about restricting ALL Qt releases to paid license holders for the first 12 months. They are aware that this would mean the end of contributions via Open Governance in practice.”

What do you plan to do? How many impact would affect Felgo? Please give us responses, this is crucial for your users, thanks

    Hi,

there were a lot of rumors, but there is no reason to be concerned for now. All is still at negotiation state and Qt is not confirming any upcoming changes whatsoever so far: https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-and-open-source

We are also in contact with the Qt Company and we will inform you guys in case there is a change that will affect you. We understand your concerns of course.

    Best,
    Alex

Thanks, however I think you should check the link you posted, they were erased by the Qt company before you post it. Things haven’t decided yet, but Qt company act like a jerk and already caused a lot of users think this company is not worth to trust.
