Is there a way to detect when the user shuts the phone to off (not powering down)?

i know about the onApplicationPaused / onApplicationResumed and used that.

Hi Bas,

the applicationPaused and applicationResumed work fine for that use-case. Just consider that these signals also fire when the app is suspended (backgrounded) and restored.
