I found a strange problem today that when the vplay plugin is enabled there are certain parts of qt creator that wont work.

For example, The side navigation and top menubar works fine, but when I create a new project and try to open the sources files, nothing works.

If I goto plugins and disable the Felgo Getting Started plugin version 2.13.0 under the Utilities section and then restart qt creator, everything works fine>

Has anyone else seen these issues?

I am running Ubuntu Linux 16.04, Qt Creator 4.3.0

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the vplay installer.

Hi Tim,

thanks for reporting the issue! This is the first time we hear of the plugin breaking other Qt Creator features it should usually not affect.

We will soon provide a Felgo update that will upgrade to Qt Creator 4.4. It would be interesting to see if the issue still occurs with Qt Creator 4.4 then.

In the meantime, you can also use Qt Creator with the inactive plugin and develop with Felgo. Were you able to log into your Felgo account with Qt Creator at first start-up or did this feature of the plugin also not work for you?

If you’re logged into your Felgo account, you will see your license configuration in the Felgo sub-folder of your installation (<VPlaySDK>/Felgo).

I just wanted to follow up if this issue still persists with the current Felgo version, which uses Qt Creator 4.4.

If you did not update yet, can you try if a fresh install of Felgo + Qt Creator 4.4 works fine for you?
