Any idea when MultiTouchArea or equivalent will be supported?

Till then, do you have any workarounds which can detect onSwipeUp, onSwipeDown etc?

we will most probably add MultiTouchArea to the next update. Meanwhile, you can use this handy QML code snippet:

Do you have any plan for supporting Sailfish OS? They support Qt 5.x by default but lack such fancy plugins like you have… 😀

 

Even if their tablet project failed, the second official Sailfish powered phone is coming to market by India #1 phone manufacturer, in April, followers are expected to come in Q2 into Africa:
