Just wondering whether gcm/firebase plugin can be extended to support windows desktop?

Hi Jun,

Firebase unfortunately does not offer libraries for desktop support. They provide a library with a subset of features for testing on desktop, but this is not a stable production-ready solution. The recommended approach for using Firebase in a desktop application is creating a web service that uses Firebase, and then let your app connect to this service, e.g. using a REST api.
