Our application uses QML plugins, those fail to load at runtime when built with Felgo 5.13.2 MinGW 32-bit Debug-mode:

plugin cannot be loaded for module "MyModule": The plugin 'MyModule.dll' uses incompatible Qt library. (Cannot mix debug and release libraries.)

This doesn’t happen while running in Release mode.

    Is this expected behavior?

    Hi,

I’ll gladly help. Could you please provide more info on how MyModule is integrated into the application?

Thank you for the quick respons! MyModule is a QML plugin (CONFIG += PLUGIN) that is imported from the QML files (import MyModule 1.0).

To my embarrassment, it appears a full rebuild has fixed the issue: the application at least loads, both in debug and release mode. There are some other issues but I think those are related to the migration to Qt 5.13, more than specific to Felgo. I’ll keep this thread updated if anything is blocking us from trying the hot reload feature.

No worries, it’s great the issue is no longer there. Sure, if you have any other questions we’ll be glad to help you.
