Apart from using NativeUtils.share how does one go about sending anything to the printer and/or to a different application on various platform

My target platforms are primarily android and windows and the primary goal is to allow printing of a rich text formatted string.

you can access a printer directly with C++: http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtprintsupport-index.html

Here is a guide how to use Custom C++ with you Felgo/Qt app: https://felgo.com/cross-platform-development/how-to-expose-a-qt-cpp-class-with-signals-and-slots-to-qml
You can also make use of native code if that is required. There are also several web resources how to connect to a bluetooth printer with Qt, which can also be used with Felgo

Got it working, but far from a smooth experience. Makes one appreciate regular QML even more 🙂
