License Comparison

Personal vs. Indie

The Personal License includes plugins for cross-platform in-app purchases and advertisements for app & game monetization, but does not include other plugins to improve your app, like analytics or push notifications - these are only available in the Indie License and above. Also, a custom splash screen is only allowed beginning with the Indie License but not in Personal. Both the Personal and the Indie License have a turnover limit that you need to consider.

Indie vs. Enterprise

The Enterprise License has no annual turnover limit and adds valuable services for companies, like a personal support assistant, included training & tech support and discounted rates for further training & tech support. We stay in close touch with our enterprise customers, to determine which new features are needed the most, in order to prioritize them higher on our roadmap. Try before you buy? FAQ

What happens after I cancelled my license?

After your billing period is over, you will no longer be able to update Felgo and cannot publish new apps/games or updates of your existing apps/games. Your already published apps/games, however, remain fully functional.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. Your payments are securely processed by FastSpring.

Can I upgrade / downgrade my current license?

You can upgrade your existing license any time, and downgrade in the month before the end of your license billing period. Please contact us for further questions.

When do I need a Qt Commercial License?

Felgo SDK makes use of various components of the Qt framework. If you use Felgo without a Qt Commercial License but with Qt Community License, you have to adhere with the LGPL 2.1 licensing terms of Qt among others, especially the terms to provide object files or a link to object files of code statically linked with Qt upon request of other developers. We recommend to use a Qt Commercial License to developers who prefer not to provide object code, especially for their iOS games. Also, the commercial license of The Qt Company is a great way to support the Qt ecosystem and push the development of Qt even further.

What are the Qt Commercial Licenses?

There are commercial licenses for Qt developers targeting iOS, Android and Desktop. It includes the foundation needed to design, develop, deploy and host your app and safely get it to the most popular stores keeping your code proprietary. The LGPL use of Qt for iOS and Android mobile app development must adhere to the restrictions of the license. Learn more about the Qt Commercial Licenses at the Qt website.
