    I would like to put in a vote for Scoreloop support, now that BlackBerry 10 is supported. This would allow Felgo games to integrate into the BlackBerry 10 Games app along with the rest of the cross-platform Scoreloop features. For those who aren’t familiar with the Games app, this is the “your friends’ games” screen (which takes you to the store to purchase): http://i.imgur.com/jLPUHQH.png

    Also, for BlackBerry 10 specific requests, I’d like to put in a vote for in-app purchases, so freemium games are doable. 🙂

    Don’t want to spoil your enthusiasm but for people actively developing games right now it is much more important to extend features and performance of the most common platforms. Felgo already supports a lot which is quite amazing and announced WP8 is the right move. Symbian and Asha are basically irrelevant so there would be no real benefit apart from idealism. Besides, Asha is highly unlikely since there is no QT support whatsoever.

    ‘and announced WP8 is the right move” – well, there is no Qt support for WP either. And it is good question what platform sells more phones: Asha or WP… 😉

    Ok, I know there are different target audience for the two platform but still…

    I’d like to ask suggest a UI/UX feature for switching (or transition) between page/game scene/page using pre built effect such, page flipping, etc.

    It is like what Cocos2d-X do here: http://www.cocos2d-x.org/projects/cocos2d-x/wiki/Transitions

    It is kind of UI/UX polishing for games so player’s will be appealed more.

     

    For example, if a game’s genre is a type of point and click adventure, then we can use Book Page Flipping effect to make it more appealing.

    Or simple transitions such page turn, fade, etc (in which implemented for cocos2d-x)

    Hi misugijunz,

    thanks for bringing up this request!

    Simple transition effects like fading, or scenes moving in from the side can be done with the Animation element with the target properties opacity of x for example. You can also have a look at the MultiSceneMultiLevel template when you select “File/New Project”, where this is done with a Transtion for the opacity element.

    However, a more convenient way to set this transitions is on our TODO list, and we try to add it as soon as possible!

    I’d like to request support for bone animation authoring tools such Spine from Esoteric Softwares. It won so many hearts during its kickstarter campaign including me, I already tried and pleased with the tools. Hopefully, you can consider to support it.

    thanks for your request! Spine looks like a great tool, however, we will first transition our renderer to support the 3D effects you mentioned in your last post. We will then have a look how much time would be required to add Spine support and let you know what our estimate is.

    I recently stumbled upon 2d volumetric lights which would be a really nice feature. Not sure how complicated this is to implement. Examples from the “competition” can be found e.g. here and here.

    I guess such effects cannot be achieved with the upcoming native plugin support since one would have to be able to access the canvas directly. Is this correct?
